The exhibition project that celebrates the forty years of the opening of the Civic Gallery intends to take the social, urban and architectural history of the city of Valdagno as its starting point.

The title of the exhibition, Not being able to climb on the clouds, taken for the hills, is taken from a phrase by Vitaliano Trevisan, which appears in a story included in the Shorts collection (Einaudi Stile Libero, 2004). Trevisan is an excellent interpreter of the emotional attitude, attracted and frightened by the changing times and ancestrally linked to the local landscape, which the exhibition aims to tell.
