Nida Sinnokrot (1971) is a Palestinian artist that work between Jerusalem and Boston. He studied at University of Texas, Austin, Texas (BS, 1995); Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York (MFA, 2000); Whitney Independent Studio Program (2001-2002). His works that includes sculptures, installations and films reflects the problem of theIsraeli-Palestinian conflict. His award-winning movie Palestinian Blues, as well as works such as Ka, West Bank Butterfly (Kite Project) or Rubber Coated Rocks, are his sensitive responses to the endless nightmare of the Israeli occupation.
