Roberto Bigano, based in Verona, Naples and Boston, works on commission or personal projects in Italy, Europe, North America, Japan and India. Eclectic photographer, he ranges from still life, to the reproduction of works of art, to automobile photography. He specializes in what he calls “special shots”, that is, very particular works such as high resolution overhead shots, photos of large reflective objects in location, etc.

Among the best known works is the reproduction of works by Leonardo da Vinci, including the Last Supper, the Self-portrait, the Codex Atlanticus, for the first time in very high digital resolution with Hasselblad’s Multishot technology. 

His most interesting projects: The Forbidden City. Plastic girls, A Big Country, Netherlands Waters, Sketches of Italy, Surrealistic Pills, Still life, Trees and Man. She has more than thirty photographic books to her credit including “Divina Bugatti”, probably one of the greatest publishing successes of the genre, series for Mondadori, and co-author of the book on Canova “The invention of beauty”, the most expensive book ever published.
