From 28 May to 18 September 2016 the historic center of Carpi (Modena) becomes an open-air museum on the occasion of Diffusa. Vestire i luoghi, an exhibition that tells the character of the city and its specificities through four artistic interventions in as many symbolic places. With particular reference to the relationship with the fashion sector, respecting the status that makes Carpi the fulcrum of a textile district of absolute importance.

Diffusa. Vestire i luoghi, curated by Luca Panaro, is promoted by the Municipality of Carpi and the Museums of Palazzo dei Pio, and involves the artists Giuseppe De Mattia (Bari, 1980), Teresa Giannico (Bari, 1985), Francesco Pedrini (1973, Bergamo) and Fabio Sandri (Valdagno – VI, 1964).

Fabio Sandri looks to an era closer to us, relating to the permanent work Architettura caco-goniometrica-entrexit, placed in the Eighties in the green area of San Rocco by Gianni Colombo. Sandri takes up the spatial scansion marked in his time by Columbus by revising the harmonious passages between arches and walkways, creating a new gateway to the green area: an ephemeral architecture capable, thanks to an articulated system equipped with photosensitive cards, to “Keep memory” of the passages of the public..
