The exhibition is curated by Sergio Breviario, Daniele Salvalai, and Giuseppe Vigolo, professors in the Visual Arts Department of the Academy, coordinated by Prof. Katia Brugnolo.
Galleria Artericambi is pleased to announce its participation in First Step 11, a project that, since 2008, has aimed to support the integration of students and alumni from the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona into the art world and foster their professional growth. Through workshops, conferences, and widespread exhibitions, this initiative creates opportunities for young talents to engage with leading art galleries, institutions, and exhibition spaces in Verona and nearby cities.
The event will open on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 4.00 PM, with two solo exhibitions hosted within the gallery spaces: Letizia Frescura‘s “Ne/at Origin” and Selene Tenca‘s “Gli egoismi dell’acqua”. The two young artists will present works that showcase their most recent artistic explorations through various media, including video, installations, and digital prints.
In “Ne/at Origin”, Letizia Frescura delves into her roots and the influence of her connection to nature, a defining aspect of her background, intertwining it with the rapid development of digital technologies. This duality between nature and technology shapes her identity and is reflected in her works, where elements of personal memory are transformed into a new contemporary aesthetic.
