Arte e ricambi is pleased to present a solo exhibition of the artist Marco di Giovanni.
Installations and performances characterize the environmental projects of Di Giovanni, who never present themselves placed or settled in space, when rather insurgent, emerged from it: with the space they coincide, they determine it, they are the abored vascular system.
A great intoltation contaminates the gallery space with heavy industrial residues. Strange underground, dirty and heavy tubular appendages, emerge from the floor and walls, generating iron steel structures alien who seem to slow, irregular multiplication. Speech and delirium: within conducts and tunnels apparently dumb, deaths, unexplored deserts or remote galaxies are hidden, contradictory realities to live by surreal figures, emerged from the abyss of a collective consciousness.
Peek through the eyepieces grafted on iron surfaces of way through the keyhole in the room of a universal memory, where fear of the unknown and desire for freedom take shape and life, (i) vintage the role of a musician and joyful baccanti , Interpreting the performers that “abitritrain” installation during the inauguration. Sounds and perfumes, light and warmth exudes from roaring industrial strutors. The astral distance divides ironic and paradoxical proximity to a small centimeters from the nose, the apparent order is subverted by an apocidal reality, imaginific and noisy.
The performance will be repeated in the Ocionse of the presentation of the first monographic catalog dedicated to the artist.
